How to find the words- the what
Define your meaning first, then the words will come to you. The first thing to do when writing a presentation is to establish your goal or action you want to accomplish. This will help to clarify the kind of language you need to use. The need to move your audience to action or are you informing your peers and asking for their compliance to a point of view? Sometimes humor will do the job or fear or gentle persuasion focussing on benefit. Then of course there is the appeal to pride, dignity or passion or an appeal to the intellect. Remember, always no matter what "TAKE THE HIGH ROAD". When you expect more of your audience you'll get more. Appeal to each group in their vernacular otherwise you will risk failing to move your audience to action either physically or mentally. The effect of your words in a presentation are cumulative, the more action words used the more dynamic the presentation becomes.
