Then repeat each portion of your presentation out loud while you pace back and forth start with the word for word conclusion then your word for word introduction. Then repeat the benefit or impact portion then the main body of your speech. Paraphrase from your short notes and be sure to keep your notes on the ad-lib portions of your speech as short as possible.
It is important to repeat the portions of your speech out loud and many times over. The repetition will "teach your mind the information and because you can hear yourself, you will automatically correct any mispronunciations and poor phrases. A good practice is to stand in front of a full-length mirror that will help your body language. This preparation will result in improved self-confidence and as a result a better performance when you deliver your presentation. If you spend about 8 times as much time in preparation as the length of the presentation you can be assured of success.
